Paddlesports

Canfield's Canoe & Kayak rental program is a big hit with folks who don't own a boat but want to get out on the water, as well as with those who want to try paddling before they commit to buying a boat.  Check out our rental rates below.

Canfield's is proud to offer the following canoes and kayaks for rent: Canoes: Old Town Discovery 164, Old Town Guide 147, Mad River Explorer 14TT, and the Dagger Legend 16.  Kayaks: Rush, Dirigo 106, Dirigo 140, Loon 160T, Pamlico 135T, Castine, X-Wave, Frenzy, Big Wave Prowler, Ace 5.1, and Super EZ.

Canoe Rentals

• 1-day canoe rental, including paddle, PFD (life jacket) and carrying kit: $50 + $200 deposit per boat

• 2-3 day canoe rental, including paddle, PFD, and carrying kit: $80 + $200 deposit per boat

• 7-day canoe rental, including paddle, PFD, and carrying kit: $120 + $200 deposit per boat

                        *2 paddles and PFD's are included for two-seat canoes, one paddle and PFD for solo canoes

Kayak Rentals

• 1-day touring kayak rental, including kayak paddle, PFD, and carrying kit: $50 + $200 deposit per boat

• 2-3 day touring kayak rental, including kayak paddle, PFD, and carrying kit: $80 + $200 deposit per boat

• 7-day touring kayak rental, including kayak paddle, PFD, and carrying kit: $120 + $200 deposit per boat

*2 paddles and PFD's are included for tandem kayaks, one paddle and PFD for solo kayaks

Whitewater Kayak Rentals

• 1-day whitewater kayak rental, including kayak paddle, spray skirt, PFD, and carrying kit: $50 + $200 deposit per boat

• 2-3 day whitewater kayak rental, including kayak paddle, spray skirt, PFD, and carrying kit, helmet and flotation available upon request: $80 + $200 deposit per boat

• 7-day whitewater kayak rental, including kayak paddle, spray skirt, PFD, and carrying kit, helmet and flotation available upon request: $120 + $200 deposit per boat

Backpacking

Renting backpacking gear is ideal for folks who are just trying backpacking for the first time, or for those going on a once-in-a-lifetime trip.  See our rental rates below.

We proudly offer Gregory Shasta backpacks, Marmot Twilight tents, Slumberjack Glacier sleeping pads, and Therm-a-Rest Expedition sleeping pads.

Backpack Rentals

• 1-day backpack rental: $15 + $50 deposit per pack

• 3-day backpack rental: $30 + $50 deposit per pack

• 9-day backpack rental: $60 + $50 deposit per pack

Tent Rentals

• 1-day tent rental: $15 + $50 deposit per tent

• 3-day tent rental: $30 + $50 deposit per tent

• 9-day tent rental: $60 + $50 deposit per tent

Sleeping Bag Rentals

• 1-day sleeping bag rental: $12 + $50 deposit per bag

• 3-day sleeping bag rental: $24 + $50 deposit per bag

• 9-day sleeping bag rental: $48 + $50 deposit per bag

Sleeping Pad Rental

• 1-day pad rental: $8 + $25 deposit per pad

• 3-day pad rental: $16 + $25 deposit per pad

• 9-day pad rental: $32 + $25 deposit per pad

Packages

Packages include backpack, tent, sleeping bag, and pad.

• 1-day package: $40 + $175 deposit

• 3-day package: $80 + $175 deposit

• 9-day package: $160 + $175 deposit
