Spring is almost here, and open water along with it! Get your fishing gear, as well as your Nebraska and Iowa licenses, at Canfield's!

Left-behind fishing line is a real concern anywhere fishing takes place. Canfield's is partnering with the Nebraska Fish and Game Association forum (www.nefga.org/forum) to help alleviate the problem. We're sponsoring placement of some of these fishing line recycling containers at area lakes, and we'll have one here in the store, too! Whenever you find discarded fishing line, just place it in one of these containers. An NEFGA forum member will pick up the line on a regular basis and send it in to be recycled. Help Canfield's help the environment and keep our fishing areas clean and hazard-free!

At Canfield's, you'll find live bait, a huge assortment of fishing rods, and more lures, bobbers, weights, and other fishing accessories than you can shake a stick at!

Casting for Recovery is a national non-profit support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer. Click the link at left to visit this valuable organization's website and to see their 2008 retreat schedule.
